You don’t need acetone to clean this. You can clean it with water (but you still need to be careful for health and environmental reasons, just like with any polymer. The difference with the water washable kind is you can clean the printed object with water instead of alcohol).

It doesn’t really matter what brand you buy. They all work in any printer. But they are not the same. They are different polymers, so the print settings you use will differ slightly. Most slicers have settings for a ton of different resins. Because Elegoo is a common brand, a lot of people have saved settings to the slicers for their resins, with lots of trials and settings reviews.

Here’s the water washable by AnyCubic, another common brand. We’ve used this and it’s just also good. (Neither is better than the other as far as we’ve seen.)

You can get clear resin, and add drops of dye (click below for the dye).
